Position Overview

The Senior Business Analyst is a senior level business analysis position and serves as a key subject matter expert for organizing and coordinating strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business team operates. This role will be key to understanding and documenting capabilities and business, functional and technical requirements needed to address business challenges. Business Analysts work closely with Business resources and stakeholders, internal Technology teams, and various vendors and third-party consultants and implementers.

What You'll Do
  • Liaison with Business Units to gather business, functional and technical requirements for new initiatives
  • Work with IT internal teams to optimize workflow and ensure tasks defined in the project plan are understood and executed
  • Ensure overall compliance with the Enterprise Project Management Office's (ePMO) project governance framework
  • Function as a key member of a cross functional team to assist with defining and executing on delivery and implementation plans
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Create and manage JIRA stories in collaboration with developers throughout the SDLC process

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5-10 years working in a financial services environment with special emphasis on coordinating business, functional and technical requirements and/or project management across large cross functional teams, programs or projects
  • 3+ years working on the Salesforce CRM Platform
  • nCino experience desired
  • 3+ years working with JIRA
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of general IT, and Business Operations
  • Must possess solid leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
  • Exposure to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile and Scrum Methodologies
  • Must have working knowledge of business productivity tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, and Visio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical people
  • Ability to create and manage JIRA user stories throughout the SDLC process following AGILE methodology
