Staff Accountant

Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team of professionals in Rosemont, IL. We make a difference every day to patients and families coping with end of life illness in creating a center of excellence in hospice care.The Staff Account is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of financial information, monthly close process, general ledger account and bank reconciliations, fixed asset and loan registers and completing ad-hoc projects. The Staff Accountant will manage time effectively, have strong organizational skills and exhibit superior honesty and integrity. This position will function within the Finance Department on both an individual and team basis, while also having the opportunity to interact and develop relationships throughout the organization.Four Year Degree in Accounting; Certified Public Account (CPA) preferred. Two plus years in an accounting environment, with experience in general ledger, month end closing processes and financial statement preparation. Healthcare/Hospice Care accounting experience a plus. Advanced knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent organizational skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management capabilities.
