Electrical Technician

Work Schedule:Work Schedule: This is a 6-week rotating cycle followed by a scheduled break, and then a two-week period (Weeks 7-8) before the cycle restarts. There are no night shifts.Weeks 1-2: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Weeks 3-4: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.Weeks 5-6: Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.Following Week 6: Scheduled off period from Thursday to Tuesday.Weeks 7-8: Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.The schedule restarts after Week 8.Position Purpose:Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to include engines, motors, tools, parts (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, etc.), conveyor systems, etc. to ensure optimum performance of machines and associated equipment.Primary Duties /Responsibilities: Performs the following duties:Numeracy; take accurate measurements using precision instruments (eg. dial indicator ,micrometer)Blueprint reading; have the ability to work from Prints and schematicsAerial Lift and other elevated work (Fall protection)Hot workScaffolding Crane SafetyOverhead Crane & Hoist SafetyFall ProtectionLine BreakingConfined SpaceLOTOPredictive MaintenanceConduit FabricationMaintain appropriate records on completed work performed using the CMMS system, communicating all findings to the immediate supervisor.Must have the ability to work autonomouslyAll candidates are subject to a 90 day probationary period.Other duties as assigned
