Primary Responsibilities:- Gather insights and test concepts with users in order to inform design decisions
- Advocate for user-centered research and design principles
- Reuse templates, patterns and design standards to solve problems
- Identify UX issues in designs, products and services
- Assist with training for peers and clients
- Uses correct knowledge documents and support materials to answer questions and provide support
- Identifies when request/issue should be escalated and assigns to appropriate party
- Clarifies asks by listening for understanding and reflecting back
- Has base understanding of some bodies of technologies
- Strives to understand the technologies used by an engineering team
- Interprets security standards and applies to own work
- Identifies relevant security standards that apply to own work and adheres to protocols
- Understands security risks & implications when evaluating solutions
- Knowledgeable about current security controls
- Maintains a working knowledge of data collection, research methods and metrics
- Gathers data using appropriate methods
- Maintains a working knowledge of statistics and measurement concepts
- Maintains objectivity when interpreting data
- Uses findings to evaluate different courses of action and their impacts to organization
- 'Adheres to quality control guidelines & practices
- Considers internal and external customers when evaluating decisions
- Tracks, identifies and promptly reports issues that may affect solution quality and bring forward improvement recommendations
- Eliminates variables to pinpoint root cause
- Identify possible solutions and pros and cons to each
- Follow up to confirm solution addressed problems
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years in a user expereince role
- 1+ years experience with design and design patterns
- Has a working knowledge of 'design thinking' or similar methodology
