Job Description
Octave Group is looking to add a bright and dynamic Producer/Project Manager to our Platform Organization. The Platform & Services team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the service infrastructure of Octave Group’s client systems which currently consists of multiple in-venue music for business product lines. The Producer, reporting to the Director, Platform & Services will assist with production of our server software development team. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual with outstanding communications abilities, hands on experience acting as a Scrum master and a demonstrated aptitude for project management.What your day-to-day looks like:- Create and track schedules for software analysis, development, testing and delivery
- Host regular sprint activities like regular sprints, planning and retrospectives with review decks
- Help communicate roadblocks and issues that may prevent developers and / or other teams from achieving established goals in the allotted time
- Prioritize and manage new ad-hoc requirements from finance, sales and marketing, product managers
- Work closely with the operations team to deliver and launch features in production
- Create and keep up to date detailed Jira tickets associated with development tasks
- Communicate frequently with architects, producers, directors, tech and test leads and client teams on project status, risks, and opportunities
Qualifications
What you bring to the table:- 2 to 3 years of experience as a project manager or producer ideally in an agile/scrum environment.
- Able to communicate effectively with programming, test, IT, analysts and architecture personnel
- Able to facilitate for and communicate with other company groups (Web, Data Science, Mobile, etc.)
- Knowledge of software development process, project management, and performance management
- Proven experience managing schedules and employees to achieve desired results
- Leads by example and exemplifies the company’s Core Values in actions and behaviors
