- This position develops code for all facets of the web technologies that power the work the client performs.
- The Software Engineer codes against a set of requirements, performs unit testing and is involved in the deployment process of an overarching web application framework.
- In this capacity, the software engineer will have the opportunity to creatively solve problems and innovate using the latest Microsoft technologies.
- Develop code to create Framework and Microservices using C#, .NET Core, Blazor, JQuery, JavaScript, Entity Framework and SQL Server
- Utilize software development best practices to produce clean, efficient, responsive, high-quality versioned code in Azure DevOps with Visual Studio
- Maintain documentation of projects using design diagrams, planning artifacts, and client’s Application Development Coding Best Practices
- Maintain and improve codebases through peer review
- Employ DevOps and Agile-based methodologies in delivery of software solutions
- Report and communicate ongoing work progress in Azure DevOps Boards, in daily Stand-ups, and as required to support team activities and management reporting
- Work with infrastructure team members to plan and coordinate software releases
- Maintain and rewrite legacy applications written in ASP.NET Webforms, MVC and VBA code in Access
- Bachelor’s Degree or better in a Computer Science related field
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues
- Passion for solving problems and providing efficient solutions timely
- Excellent communications skills and an ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Recent 2 years of JavaScript
- Recent 2 years of C#
- Recent 2 years of ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET CORE or Blazor (the 2 years can actually be a combination of three technologies)
- Recent 3 years of T-SQL, Stored Procedures and Triggers
