Systems Engineer, Customer Experience & Analytics Solution - ENG001690
Please note that this role can be based in either Madison - WI, Knoxville - TN or Schaumburg - ILSystem Engineer, Customer Experience and Analytics Solution will work with customer experience product manager, engineering, sales, marketing and customer care. This will be in order to develop architecture, system requirement, and test features for Customer Experience Management (CXM) system. In addition, the System Engineer will assist in testing and integrating major/minor features of hardware and software products. These will be developed by UScellular or our vendors. The role will use knowledge in big data toolsets and techniques to implement customer experience improvement models, features and solutions! - Develop requirements, design and implementation plan for software driven use cases and solutions. Collaborate with multi-functional areas in collaboration with vendors/contractors in proposing /creating architecture of the solutions using bigdata infrastructure
- Utilize Agile and DevOps development techniques for platform/system development. Make recommendations to leadership team(s), covering relative costs of activities, opportunities for use case prioritization and implementation!
#LI-LD1Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information technology or similar field, or equivalent work or military experience. 3 plus years of experience in a technical area such as Telecommunications or IT.Exposure to technical subject areas (such as Access Engineering/Access Operations/Core Operations/Service Engineering/Security/DevOps, and automation environments (software development).Knowledge and skills within the Engineering organization, which include (but are not limited to) programming languages including Python/'R'/ Java / shell scripting/SQL/HiveQL is required. Custom-developed automation tools that bring to bears micro-services and various automation tools is preferred.Software Development Platforms including Docker/Kubernetes/Hadoop.
