Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: SecretPublic Trust/Other Required: NoneJob Family: Policy AnalysisGeneral Dynamics Information Technology is seeking JOPES/TransViz Analyst who holds active clearance.Primarily responsible for coordination of all JOPES/TransViz training conducted at or by USTRANSCOM. For JOPES MTT training obtained by USTRANSCOM responsible for direct coordination with Joint Deployment Training Center (JDTC) personnel to establish training schedule within budget provided by USTRANSCOM TCJ1. Coordinate with TCJ1 and TCJ37 to ensure MTT JOPES training opportunities are listed in TANDEM for USTRANSCOM personnel to register for the courses. Coordinate with prospective students to ensure all course perquisites are completed prior to final registration for the course on the JDTC website. Coordinate the fill of all seats for USTRANSCOM classes. Coordinate classroom space and ensure all computer equipment required is present and prepared for use. In coordination with TCJ6 ensure any visiting personnel have guest computer access and access to the training room. Provide visit request information for incoming guest students. Manage student assignment and coordinate as required between the MTT instructor and the students. Serve as the conduit for class materials, ensuring any mailed material is provided to the classroom in time for the class. Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) manual for all aspects of setting up training for both JOPES classes and TransViz classes conducted at USTRANSCOM .
Conducts analyses for contingency data contained in the JOPES databases. Assembles, prepares, and analyzes data for studies, statistical models, evaluations, system requirements, and other needs. Uses technical discretion within defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for determining approaches or obtaining solutions. Assembles, prepares, and analyzes data; presents briefings to client on analyzed data. Provides technical advice, operating assistance, and counsel for JOPES studies. Prepares and delivers presentations to colleagues, subordinates, and government representatives of reports/briefings based on the expert interpretation of analyzed data.
Also responsible for all JOPES and TransViz system functional testing of new applications and application upgrades. Employee shall coordinate functional testing with command and component command operators, and command and component command external system interfaces, to include their system administrators and project management offices as required. Some application testing may require creation of a test plan. Create a written functional test report of results that includes tests and updates, recommended solutions for necessary application improvement, and reviews of JOPES.Support shall include functional and technical support to JOPES and TransViz demonstrations
