JOB REQUIREMENTS: Cortech Staffing is seeking a skilled Devlieg Operator for a locally owned South Beloit, IL Company. Duties and Responsibilities: 2+ Years Experienced Manual Boring Mill Machinist Must be able to do set-ups Must Have Experience with Devlieg or Boring Mills Set-up each workpiece so that it can be machined in the most efficient way possible Determine proper tooling to run specific job(s) Proper maintenance of machining centers. Housekeeping and clean-up of machines and general work area. Inspect his/her own work to assure that print specs are achieved Make recommendations to Machine Shop Supervisor about machining processes. Must read all types of micrometers and gages to verify work is correct to print requirements. Position Requirements: -High school diploma, GED or equivalent education -Ability to read, follow and understand prints, manufacturing instructions and quality plans -Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions -Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of work situations Mathematical ability - basic math calculations (addition, subtractions, multiplication, and division), work with whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: -Able to stand for long periods at a time. -Able to safely lift 70lbs. -Good manual dexterity. -Equipment Knowledge: -Overhead crane operation. -Manual machines -Basic computer use APPLY TODAY!
