Program/Business Analyst

Program/Business Analysts will provide business management support to TSA. Analysts will assist TSA to identify and demonstrate emerging solutions that increase security effectiveness and efficiency, improve passenger experience, and improve secure movement throughout the nation's transportation system. Program/Business Analysts will support collaboration with industry, airlines, airports and equipment manufacturers to:
  • Determine the attributes/standards of the capabilities;
  • Identify and prioritize gaps as well as assess operational risk associated with the gaps ;
  • Provide recommendations for addressing the gaps;
  • Document processes, recommendations, and provide detailed findings, appropriately vetted through stakeholders.
Skills & Other Requirements

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in business, public policy, international affairs, and/or national security from an accredited college or university and relevant work experience in business management, project management, financial management, business analysis, or systems engineering (Please refer to attached summary of quals & experience for titles associated with specific years of experience.)
  • Ability to acquire DHS Suitability
  • Ability to schedule, plan, and coordinate meetings, as well as knowledge and understanding of how to conduct a thorough analysis of processes to identify areas of improvement
  • Working knowledge and experience with government regulations, policies, and limitations within their scope of responsibilities
  • Experience multi-tasking and handling several portfolios at one time while working under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience in oral communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated written communication skills sufficient to explain actions taken and rationale behind actions and recommendations
  • Knowledgeable with software programs such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel Access)
Preferred:
  • Secret or Top Secret Clearance
  • Project Management certification
  • Experience with transportation sector
  • Experience with Agile Frameworks
