DescriptionLogistics Clerk coordinating shipments? There is a great Logistics Clerk opportunity through OfficeTeam candidates. You will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, arranging shipments, and processing customer orders. Another requirement for this position is to perform a heavy amount of data entry and customer service functions. This is a long-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity.How you will make an impact
Monitor guidelines for approving carriers
Follow-up with carriers, as necessary
Convey and organize with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes
Authorize freight bills and process bills of lading
Perform various administrative duties
Check, follow, and assist dispatch & progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements
Requirements
Shipping & receiving experience preferred
Foundational knowledge in UPS FedEx
Logistics experience desired
Deep understanding of data entry
Customer service oriented communication skills
Ability to complete general office work, operate basic office equipment, and route incoming materials
We are seeking candidates with experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions
2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics
Outstanding data entry skills
