Network Engineer Summer Intern

RRD is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic & motivated student to join our team in St. Charles, IL next Summer as a Network Engineer Intern!  THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION Job SummaryWe have an extensive customer base across industries in virtually every private and public sector, an unmatched portfolio of capabilities, a proven management team and the financial flexibility allowing investments in innovative technologies and growth opportunities to meet communications challenges. Responsibilities:Standardize consistently the SNMP configurations to RRD’s standard/best practices access mechanismAudit network devices remote access capability and convert any Telnet to SSH.Assist in the implementation of solutions following IT standards and senior engineer designs for corporate WAN/LAN implementation throughout the US and Canada.Execute/perform configuration changes and coordinate installations with senior engineers, site contacts and vendors.Configuring basic Cisco routers and switchesMust be available during the whole summer term
