- High-school graduate diploma. Anatomy and Physiology class preferred
- A graduate operating-room technician or previous experience as an OR Technician.
- CPR certification required, or obtained during nursing team onboarding process.
- Performs duties in a capacity of "surgical" technician as prescribed by hospital policies and procedures.
- Assists in the orderly functioning of the Surgery Department.
- Performs appropriate intra-operative techniques to assist physician.
- Pursues educational opportunities to maintain and expand personal and professional goals.
- Actively participates in competency assessment process.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
