TSR is a premier National U.S. Staffing company with over 50 years of staffing excellence.Our client, a leading Financial Services company, is hiring a Marketing Platform Lead on an initial 12-Month W2 contract basis.Work Location: Telecommuter / Remote 100%- Based in IllinoisPosition Summary:With a pre-eminent global brand and distribution, delivers industry-leading products, advanced services and payment systems that address clients evolving needs.Integral to success is the introduction and management of innovative programs, products and solutions through strong partnerships and dedicated talent who are committed to excellence.The teams charter is to develop solutions and provide thought leadership to support our partners in driving customer loyalty, engagement and sales growth.Vital to our shared success is a keen focus on client obsession, which drives us to strive for seamless and frictionless experiences and capabilities, which are fully integrated into our partners shopping and buying journeys.The primary responsibility of the Marketing Platform Lead is to drive flawless delivery by monitoring, testing and executing updates to our marketing platform tools.The position requires strategic collaboration with key internal and external groups such as partner marketing teams, Database Marketing, Marketing Operations, Technology and our third party landing page supplier. As such, this detail-oriented person will need to exhibit strong project management, communications, integration testing, validation and monitoring skills.A successful Marketing Platform Lead will possess the following:

  • Curiosity and follow through to work with technical teams to understand how marketing technology is built, the ability to manage it, test it and perform monitoring to ensure performance and compliance.
  • Be proactive by being action-oriented. This means pushing oneself and others to achieve the best possible experience.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills, which are necessary in delivering on timelines and driving solutions that support partner needs.
  • The ability to understand high-level API connections and how they pass data/information to support marketing content.
  • Adaptable qualities including learning on the fly and being open to change.
  • The drive to test new marketing technology to ensure it works, which includes performing calculations on transactional data to confirm they are being completed correctly.
  • Attention to detail to ensure content and functionality is working as planned. Monitoring that functionality by reviewing daily reporting and bringing forward and working through any issues that are identified as a part of that monitoring.
  • The ability to support multiple projects, occurring for multiple campaigns and partners at the same time.
  • Ability to work in a virtual work environment where management peers and clients may not be in the same physical location.
  • The ability to successfully manage/navigate organizational complexity.
  • Primary Responsibilities & Focus
  • Manage the third party hosted landing pages through their life cycle (live, retired and in development).
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and focus on the goal at hand while understanding the larger picture (timelines, partner needs, supportability).
  • Manage the testing, monitoring and compliance of new/existing marketing technology. This would include the introduction of new campaign types, MCC changes, and onboarding new partners into existing technology.
  • Responsible for the development and flawless execution of marketing projects (taking requests, working through financial support, hosting/providing project execution updates, working with the vendor to execute the requested deliverable, QA, approvals, and monitoring).
  • Collaborate with the partner and your team (internal/external) to deliver the best partner supportable solution.
  • Ensure all required procedures, approvals and campaign requirements are closely followed and maintained throughout execution.
  • Ownership and accountability of key performance metrics, such as reporting distribution to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to all compliance, regulatory and information security standards and protocols and maintain required program documentation.
