OccassionallyEmail a FriendSaveSaveApply NowPosition Summary:Provide security services to protect the employees, visitors, patients, and facility at the Carle Curtis clinic location. Maintain a safe environment and ensure building access control measures are maintained. Officer may be called to assist with security services at other sites including the main campus.Qualifications:EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Associate's Degree preferred. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Taser Certification, OC Pepper Foam Certification, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification required within 90 days of start date. Drivers License. Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card required within 6 months of hire. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Security experience preferred. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Effectively communicate with employees and customers. Writing skills. Able to complete security incident reports.Essential Functions:
Monitor perimeter and interior doors/areas and watch for unauthorized access.
Patrol building and grounds for safety and security issues/hazards and investigate.
Monitor cameras
Assist staff with potential security issues and intervene when necesary.
Provide employees with security awareness education.
Provide customer service support for patients, visitors and staff.
Assist staff and visitors with Emergency Management events.
