Responsibilities include: development and execution of strategic plan for product positioning, market segmentation, new product and feature development, and ad-hoc projects that support deposit initiatives and sponsor requests. Maintain high-level perspective while interacting across multiple business functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Service Centers, IS, Deposit Operations and Business Development).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Product Management

Identify needs for enhancements and modifications to existing products, including features, pricing, term changes, and channel management

Analyze product penetration and develop strategies for improving underperforming areas

Analyze current member segments and existing product management plans

Develop a comprehensive overview of current deposit products and the consumer markets they serve

Identify and prioritize opportunities for portfolio deposit growth within current product mix

New Product Development and Growth Opportunities

Identify gaps where new product development should be pursued and develop execution plans for those with highest growth potential

Perform analysis and develop proposals for product changes and/or introductions to appropriate BCU committees

Manage program executions with Marketing, Underwriting, Sales, Deposit Operations, Business Development and Service Centers.

Co-manage campaign planning and provide support for creative development, QA and proofing of quarterly marketing campaigns

Provide ongoing product training to ensure member-facing staff is well-versed on all aspects of BCU’s consumer deposit products.

Other

Research, summarize and analyze competitive environment to determine industry best practices and market growth opportunities for BCU

Review Member survey feedback; develop responses and action plans as appropriate

Direct miscellaneous lending initiatives for unique Sponsor needs

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required

5+ years in financial services product management for mid to large scale institution.

Demonstrated project management and organizational skills

Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills; demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of the organization

Strong financial analytical skills (quantitative/qualitative); develop financial analysis to support new product and promotional pricing recommendations.

Creative and proactive mindset, with strong attention to detail; Works independently while maintaining clear lines of communication with internal partners and business line management
