Job Title: Microsoft Teams Voice and Video Engineer / Avaya AdministratorLocation: :Vernon Hills, ILDuration : 1 Year Onsite Job Description :
- Responsible for the design and implementation of Microsoft Teams Voice solutions from a variety of source environments
- Provide best practice recommendations on Microsoft Teams migration scenarios, coexistence, and interop for the company's end customers and partners
- Avaya Media Gateway and Communication Manager experience.
- Migration of Avaya/Cisco environments to Microsoft Teams including Enterprise Voice
- Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects, overseeing the work of other project team members and being accountable for the outcome of the project
- Document best practices and delivery guidance to delivery team
- Collaborate with sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer discovery and scoping meetings and presentations
- Conduct Microsoft Teams Network Assessments for Microsoft Teams voice deployments
- Consult the company's customers and partners on Microsoft 365 and related technologies including Microsoft Teams, Calling and Meetings, Voice and Live Events
- Create high-level Microsoft Teams architecture design and guidance to ensure Microsoft Teams Voice customer engagements are successful
- Design and implementation of Direct Routing on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunks, Session Border Controllers and telephony architecture
- Working knowledge of Google, Office-365 and Microsoft Collaboration suites and experience in managing Collaboration Technologies
- Voice vendor skills such as Avaya, Polycom, Cisco certification, awareness and understanding
- Deep level of understanding of voice technologies: TDM, SIP, QoS, Client, Codecs, Voice Recording and general IPT
- Call / Contact Centre Technology and Cloud PBX
- International voice and video strategy deployment
- ITIL operational awareness and understanding
- Experienced in working with large geographically dispersed teams
- Strong PowerShell skills, preferential secondary skills
- Completed Bachelor's, Technical degree or related work experience in Computer Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience designing and implementing Microsoft Teams solutions
- Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience with migrating voice solutions to Microsoft Teams
- Minimum 5 - 10 years' of technical experience with increasing responsibility
- Minimum 3 - 5years experience with PowerShell scripting for automation, documentation and standardization
- Minimum 2+ years' experience of consulting services
- Microsoft Certifications
