Job Summary: Trane in Willowbrook, IL is hiring for a Inside Sales/Equipment Project Manager to join the team. In this position you will be providing sales support in the design, application, and quotation of Trane Products. You will be working closely with our equipment sales team, contractors, and developer customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Trane Equipment portfolio product replacement sales, growth, and sales solutions that involve teaming with Account Mangers in assigned territory.
  • Assisting in estimating, submittals, and order entry.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, advising corrective action, and communicating with customers, and co-workers. Build consultative relationships and trust with engineering, owner, and contracting customers.
  • Support engineers and design-build contractors with design, application, and code compliance.
  • Understand market and develop/lead overall replacement equipment sales strategy. Responsible for keeping abreast of external market conditions and internal requirements related to portfolio. This includes energy rebates, tax incentives, and code within assigned territory.
  • Identify product gaps, develop solutions to minimize the impact, and work with Product Management to prioritize and eliminate gaps. Understanding inefficiency within current workflow and processes to better service customers by improving process between acquisition and fulfillment.
  • Work direct with customers and sales engineers on equipment replacement opportunities to identify existing equipment, propose new equivalent systems, and fulfill orders when required.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the HVAC industry working as an estimator, project manager, or project engineer.
  • Working knowledge of all facets of construction including mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, etc. preferred.
  • Must be able to travel on occasion throughout assigned territory.
  • Customer service and communication skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
  • DUI in the previous 5 years
  • Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
