IT Technical Platform Manager to be accountable for aspects of the technology platforms within their assigned portfolio. Success factors of the role are tied to timely, on-budget delivery of business initiatives, production availability, stability and productive business relationships. As an IT Technical Platform Manager,

your responsibilities will include:
  • Leads small to midsize subset of respective portfolio and ensures timely delivery of business initiatives.
  • Participates in respective TPO area operational planning process and provides input to defining objectives.
  • Provides input into the business and technical fitness of respective application portfolio and insights into potential cost efficiencies.
  • Handles support activities in conjunction with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure the application products perform well in production.
  • Runs respective vendor relationships and respective budgets.
  • Works with security team to ensure that the organization's application products are effectively secured and that risks are mitigated.
  • Supports Director, Technical Platform Owner (TPO) and product management to implement and manage change requests to production, application product roadmaps status reporting, metrics and benchmarks.
  • Manages the development of processes and tools in conjunction with infrastructure and the DevOps members, to automate the handoff of code releases (DevOps).
  • Develop positive relationships with product managers and Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) across the organization to provide insights on how applications can enable sources of value.

The IT Technical Platform Manager position

is well-suited for you if you have:
  • Solid understanding of service delivery management including driving resolution of high severity incidents causing production outages, restoring service and ensure availability of core applications/systems with internal and external delivery partners
  • Understanding of software application development principles and processes
  • Understanding the business objectives and has business domain knowledge to complete objectives.
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform

What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business management or a related field, or 8 years of related work experience
  • 5- 7 years of experience in Service Delivery management
  • Previous experience handling or leading a team in application product development, implementations, or production support
  • Experience in collaborating closely with middle management

  • Experience with mainframe or legacy applications

This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
