• This position will be responsible for planning and implementing the testing of existing and new OEM forklifts and components. Responsible for developing the script tools required for the testing. Position requires technical oriented individual with the strong communication and leadership skills to communicate, plan and document the activities of a fast-paced testing program.

• Test tool development experience using python
• Test case development, test execution,
• CAN based test experience and experience with CAN tools.

• As a Firmware Test Engineer, the candidate in this role will be responsible for developing the python scripts on linux operating system as required for the test
• Debugging the C , C code to troubleshoot the issue on embedded systems ECU
• Planning and developing the Firmware Test Strategy.
• Work with the Design, Firmware Engineers to create and review the test cases.
• Use the firmware tools developed by design teams to flash the controllers and components to perform Firmware testing.
• Draft the test plans and meet with Design, Firmware Engineers and Quality team members to confirm the details of the test plan.
• Develop new test procedures as required for the Client developed forklift electrical controls and telematics systems.
• Schedule tests to meet project milestones while respecting manpower and resource availability.
• Discuss the content of the test plans with lab technicians to develop test fixtures and facilitate testing.
• Candidate should be able to track the test cases and bugs on Azure ADO
• Acquire and process test data, analyze the results and provide engineering interpretations.
• Should update project related data as required in applicable systems and ensure timely reporting and response to stakeholders.
• Prepare and implement improvements to processes and procedures related to testing, planning, and reporting.
• Analyze and countermeasure testing issues as they arise.

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field of study. MS Preferred.

• Minimum 2-3 years of Firmware test, Embedded systems testing or Firmware development experience is preferred.
• Required competencies Experience in developing test scripts required for the tests on Linux platform using python.
• Debugging the C code for test failures and bugs
• Experience in developing the embedded system or ECU product. Involved in C, C coding
• Manual/Automated bench level or system level testing or HIL testing experience is preferred
• Experience with CANalyzer or other data acquisition systems. Data processing skills.
• Test Automation background would be a plus (Test stand, LabVIEW, etc.)
• Experience with Wifi, Bluetooth, Cellular communication testing would be added benefit
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong project management experience and leadership skills.
• Understanding of product life cycles, and application of relevant test methodologies.
• Understanding of electric forklift or similar mobile products. Possess the technical ability to read, evaluate, understand and communicate data from schematics, layouts and technical standard documents.
