Position Summary:

TMHNA is seeking enthusiastic and innovative candidates to join our team as an Enterprise Data Analyst. This role will primarily focus on understanding how the business processes and requirements are implemented within the corporate landscape with an emphasis on security and controls. These responsibilities will support the enterprise goals of adopting the next generation of digital technologies and services.

Responsibilities for the Enterprise Data Analyst include primary contact to provide leadership with accurate, insightful, and actionable data. This position collaborates with internal business and product teams as well as the regional and global stakeholders. In addition, this position will take a hands-on approach with internal systems and technical teams and continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes, and standards. Working with all internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs is a key function of this position. The Enterprise Data Analyst will oversee several initiatives for the organization and coordinate closely with the senior architects on future enhancements. The position will become a part of cross-functional teams and have ownership for communication between multiple teams across the organization.

Essential Position Duties:
  • Enhance enterprise reporting capabilities by automating data collection, transformation and report generation
  • Leverage the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Master Data Management (MDM) capacity to provide visualization and analysis of the North America market
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and strategic teams to define needs and deliver business intelligence solutions to meet operational and strategic objectives

Data Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Develop reports, data visualizations, and data structures for our financial and product teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define their needs and design solutions to deliver effective data reports to meet their operational and strategic needs.
  • Work closely with various department team members to help them understand the implications of data changes, monitoring, reporting and identify any areas of concern
  • Monitor data services closely for potential scaling concerns, security vulnerabilities or instability
  • Provide innovative reports, data visualizations, and analysis to organization and leadership
  • Create recommendations for platform optimizations based on usage and future trends.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Governance, Risk and Control Responsibilities
  • Understand the organizations security baseline with various governance frameworks and models
  • Map process flows (BPM) to identify areas of security and controls risk, while incorporating the CIA triad
  • Identify organizational principles and requirements to understand gaps in security, especially when considering information security standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI)
  • Assist with review of information security policies, processes and procedures
  • Learn about various IT systems, operations, and functional roles by working closely with various subject matter experts
  • Implement incident response and IAM governance documentation and processes across solutions
  • Recommend best practices related to SIEM and predictive analytics related to cloud security event and alerting

Education & Experience:

Required Education: BS or higher with 0-4 years of experience in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with preference to information security or risk management

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience moving data using ELT Tools
  • Experience with programming languages C#, JAVA, SQL, HTML, CSS, Python
  • Experience designing and implementing data structures to support reporting tools
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau, SSRS, etc.)
  • Basic awareness of information security standards, and data confidentiality rules and regulations
  • An understanding of application, database, network, secrets and certifications security
  • Experience and knowledge working with security best practices and GRC frameworks
  • Moderate understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc)
  • Ability to work within a team and demonstrate a growth mindset
  • Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills
