Position Summary:

TMH is currently going through a customer centric digital transformation to improve the digital touchpoints for associates, dealers and end customers. The business process analyst deals with the tactical day-to-day aspects of discovering, validating, documenting and communicating business-process-related knowledge through modeling, simulating and analyzing current and future states. The process analyst ensures that changes to the process environment are carried out in a seamless fashion. The business process analyst will have ownership of all business processes and continuous improvement of processes enabled by system solutions.

Core Competencies:

This position requires the ability to identify opportunities to use SAP, Microsoft or other related applications to deliver services that are more effective in a customer centric digital way and in a team environment. To do this, the person must be able to communicate well with parties inside and outside of the company while remaining accountable for the outcomes.

Additionally, this person will be someone who is business minded and IT driven. They will be comfortable with technologies and understand possibilities and potential. Process improvement, automation, waste elimination should be engrained in the thinking process and style of the ideal candidate. This person should be known for seeing endless possibilities of improvement but being able to narrow their focus towards the most impactful ones. They are someone who builds trust quickly, engages deeply and understands intimately both the people they work with as well as the processes that drive change. Daily, this person will be excited to make an impact and will assist customers in exactly what success can look like while working with IT to make that exciting vision a reality.

Essential Position Duties:

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Managing project SOWs, Capital Expenditure Requests with PMO team.
  • Analyze complex business problems and determine an IT solution
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Working closely with customers, technicians, and managerial staff.
  • Communicating and translating requirements effectively between business process areas and supporting departments (IT organization).
  • Performing continuous reviews to align processes (for example, models, goals, expectations) with changing business conditions
  • Ensuring proper coordination between the IT organization and process owners by defining conceptual and contextual levels of detail in the business process models
  • Working closely with solution architects, data analysts, application developers, PMO and other analysts to ensure process consistency and techniques across the enterprise
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Additional duties may be assigned

Responsibilities:

  • Searches internal and external resources for pre-built models, templates and services to meet process needs
  • Determines and documents the impact of change and suggests policy, goal and rule changes
  • Performs continuous reviews to align processes (for example, models, goals, expectations) with changing business conditions
  • Maintains and shares process knowledge by embracing methods, techniques, notations, standards and best practices derived from the business process architecture team
  • Shows process stakeholders how to identify and solve process challenges through simulation of different scenarios, analysis of performance metrics and advanced optimization techniques
  • Work with project management and business stakeholders to negotiate project plans, time frames and trade-offs while ensuring all stakeholder expectations are in sync

Specific Knowledge and Skills:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or related business discipline or MBA
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Advanced technical skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
