Technical Writer/Analyst (US Citizen - Ability to obtain Secret Clearance)

What You'll Get to Do:- Assist in collecting and organizing information for the preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
- Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.
- Developing documents, producing high-quality graphics, conducting technical editing, and supporting STI research and assessments
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Security Clearance
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree such as engineering, information technology, communications, English or journalism preferred
- 10+ years of experience
- Highly experienced in word processing and briefing slide preparation software
- Highly experienced in the use of graphic design and production software, has a graphics portfolio
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Draws on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks
- Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top -evel contributor/specialist.
- Able to lead and direct the work of others
- Recognized master in a technical discipline
- Experience establishing operational plans for the technical area
- Has developed and implemented innovative products, processes, standards, or operational plans achieved through research and integration of best practices that had an impact on the achievement of functional results of a project or system
- Has significantly improved on existing processes and practices
- Active DoD SECRET clearance
- MA or MS and/or Ph.D. in a field such as technical writing, information technology, communications or related field with undergraduate degrees in engineering, information technology, communications, English or journalism
- 12+ years of experience in the field or in a related area;
