SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (F3001-22-0315-W): Bowhead seeks a Senior Software Developer to join our team at Crane, IN. The Senior Software Developer must have experience analyzing business and technical tasks from the contract level. The Senior Software Developer will be part of a team that solves issues, creates solutions and provides support for deployed applications. Essential functions will include: • Contributing expertise in a professional and collaborative work environment to write, test, debug and document software in C#.Net and JavaScript • Writing new code in C# and JavaScript that follows current best practices and standards • Documenting code and engineering procedures • Participating in virtual team meetings • Assisting in the creation of user manuals and other technical documentation • Helping to facilitate functional testing of software • Other duties as assigned Requirements In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, candidates should be aware that they may be required to have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire. • A BS in Computer Science, Informatics, Computer Engineering or related STEM field is preferred • Must have, or be willing to obtain prior to employment, the baseline certifications for IAT Level II according to DoD 8570 (i.e. CompTIA Security+) • A minimum of three (3+) years' of Software Developer experience • Prior experience with C#.Net, Java or similar languages is required • Must have experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue or similar in addition to experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgres or similar • Experience with source control such as Git, Subversion, or similar • Experience in an Agile development environment and experience with project management software such as Jira, Gitlab or similar • Must have prior experience collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level, however candidates with an active Secret are highly encouraged to apply. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
