OverviewThe Business Analyst is responsible for planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including:
  • Working closely with business users to define and analyze problems and figure out the most suitable application or configuration solutions
  • Being the go-to for subject matter expertise and leading day to day activities
  • Providing guidance to team members in regard to product requirements
  • Creating, reviewing and delivering end-user documentation (user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and training for accuracy
  • Ensuring the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
The Business Analyst must be able to interface effectively with internal customers and partners to determine product requirements and communicate these requirements to the development team:
  • Working with an Engineering counterpart to define product release requirements.
  • Working with Marketing communications to define go-to-market strategy and help understand product positioning, key benefits and the target customer.
  • Working with Sales to understand key features and trends of the sales channel.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Work with Product Owner to define the business requirements
  • Maintain product backlog by creating product features and user stories
  • Articulate business requirements to the Engineering Teams
  • Validate business and technical requirements are met during the Sprint
  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure business and system requirements are met
  • Lead the sprint planning sessions
  • Participate in Feature Prioritization sessions
  • Facilitate backlog grooming and user story estimation sessions with the team
  • Participate in the Team's Daily Stand Up and give daily updates
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of Agile methodology-based software experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable in camera and digital recording technology such as CCTV, Video Streaming, Cloud Based Security
  • Familiarity with video streaming protocols (RTSP, WebRTC, HTTP, SIP)
  • Experience with launching cloud applications and SaaS business models
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Analytical and quantitative skills; able to resolve issues with well-structured analysis
