Sales Application Engineer needed for wire die manufacturer. Ideal candidate will have wire manufacturing experience - company is willing to training on the sales/customer support piece. This person will manage projects for assigned customers. This company has very limited turnover due to a strong internal culture and collaborative sales/support environment. Responsibilities of the Sales Application Engineer:- Preparation of customer orders; ensure they are submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensures that all products have been properly billed.
- Ensures efficiency in the handling of customer accounts while always maintaining a
- high standard of customer relations.
- Responsible for technical advice, special orders, quoting prices, and handling customer relations.
- Coordination of customer service activities with other company functions and departments; i.e. order entry, operations, inventory control, accounting, etc.
- Assists in the evaluation of new products to best suit the applications and needs of customers.
- 5+ Years in wire manufacturing (Wire Drawing and/or Extrusion) or wire sales.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Requires some knowledge of wire products, applications, invoicing, and shipping methods.
- Tech Savvy - proficiency in Microsoft products with ability to pick up new software quickly.
- Ability to travel up to 50% - mostly day trips to clients sites/plants with some overnights.
