What You Will Do: Provide technical expertise in one or more information technology disciplines to support the organization's technical infrastructure.- Reports development in a desktop environment
- Data table creation
- Develop quality, safety, reliability and customer satisfaction metrics and analytics.
- Collaborate on metric development, reporting system design and design and delivery of routine and ad hoc reports.
- Develop approaches to present information including presentations and communications.
- Support advance project management, improvement initiatives and tactical decisions/plans.
- Benchmark national best practices and make recommendations for change as appropriate.

- Assists in evaluating proposals for data collection through an understanding of the functional area's business and applications needs
- Assists in planning and implementing activities required for the collection and analysis of data related to departmental business needs, including the development of data collection systems
- Maintains specific departmental data collection systems (databases and spreadsheets) by troubleshooting problems, providing user support and education and promoting integration with other systems.
- Develops and runs basic SQL queries and other data collection spreadsheets to support assigned business areas and organizes them in a format for ease of review and use.
- Distills business processes to key functions and create and document processes to identify opportunities to automate and/or improve an existing process
- Assists in conducting complicated and detailed analyses of data relative to the applicable business function.
- Works with customers to clarify and plan for their current and future analytical needs
- Determines and map existing business processes / functions and recommend changes required to fit a tightly integrated system
- Collaborate on driving improvement activities to achieve department and organizational goals
- Assume a proactive role in driving improvement activities to achieve department and organizational goals to deliver value
- Coordinate with functional team to assure consistency and optimization of overall work product
- Maintain current knowledge of industry and business process trends and is able to apply that knowledge to existing business processes
- Conduct data analysis to assist the GHSC staff in defining key performance indicators (KPI's)
- Assists in the development of metrics to assess the impact of assigned area guidelines
- Conducts complicated and detailed analyses of data relative to applicable project
- Utilizes data visualization software products to enhance understanding of data analyses
- Conduct quality data analysis and clinical decision support for designated system(s).
- Support measurement and system improvement.
- Proficiency in SQL & Tableau are required
- Database development and management is strongly preferred
- Experience in working in Google productivity applications is strongly preferred - 5 years of experience
- Experience in working with Google Cloud Data Analytics desirable
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, teamed with several years of experience in data quality-analysis environments.
- Respond to user problems by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively.
- Troubleshoot most application problems independently.
- Possess and apply working knowledge of at least one technology environment to address and resolve problems.
- Analyze a chain of events and apply technical knowledge following established procedures and/or detailed specifications.
- Write fundamental documentation in a clear, concise manner and according to standards.
- Share knowledge effectively within the work team.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
