AWS Python Developer (Engineer) | About You

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be responsible for helping the organization reach its development roadmap goals and support a product experiencing rapid growth. You have considerable experience building distributed solutions that are of high quality, scalable, reliable, and fast. You are looking to continuously improve yourself, your team, and the larger organization, as well as the technology products and the processes for delivering and supporting those products. Must be accountable, a problem-solver, and commit to continuous improvement.

AWS Python Developer (Engineer) | Day-to-Day

  • Write high-quality and well-tested code.
  • Collaborate with various teams to solve client problems.
  • Deliver the highest product quality utilizing agile engineering and DevOps practices.
  • Develop and integrate changes in multiple projects to provide end-to-end solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely resolutions.
  • Follow the Agile methodology with 2-week sprints and creating/executing user stories.

AWS Python Developer (Engineer) | Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Expertise in new development and maintenance of Python code.
  • Knowledge of incremental delivery of features as part of a Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Expertise in doing Windows Application Development.
  • Experience using Win32 API from a higher-level language.
  • Accustomed to using GIT as a source code management tool.
  • Successfully worked with teams following a mix of delivery processes (Kanban, Scrum, XP, LeSS, SAFe, etc.
  • Exposure to C/C, PowerShell scripting, GitLab, Cython, ctypes, VSCode, and Vagrant are preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of cloud (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) are preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of application security practices are preferred but not required.
