Area Director- DD / IDD Services

What You Will Do: The Area Director - DD/IDD Services oversees all programs and services in the assigned geographic region. You’ll provide leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure high-quality services for individuals with disabilities while expanding and developing new business opportunities. This role includes budget management, staffing, licensing, policy development, marketing, and proposal preparation. You’ll work closely with program directors, support staff, and the state management team to drive excellence and ensure compliance across the organization.Responsibilities:Lead and manage program directors and support staff, fostering teamwork and ensuring high-quality service delivery.Oversee financial performance, budgets, and accounts receivable while anticipating and addressing fiscal challenges.Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and contract requirements.Supervise program development, staff training, and the implementation of support plans for individuals served.Expand and develop new and existing business units within the assigned area.Represent Dungarvin in local, state, and regional workgroups, committees, and partnerships.Assess organizational risk and implement risk management protocols to protect the company and those we serve.Respond to customer and employee concerns, providing guidance and support to resolve issues promptly.
