- Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade physical and electronic security systems.
- Required to lift large and heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.), perform physical work such as pulling cables, climbing ladders and working out doors for extended periods of time.
- Install panels, bend piping/conduit, perform system wiring of both low and high voltage power, and perform connection of both copper and fiber optics.
- May assist in programming/configuring security software applications.
- Four (4) years of practical experience, to include: IESS installation, electronics repair, maintenance, testing, and turnover.
- Must have previous experience with electronic and physical security systems.
- Experience with Lenel and/or Bosch security systems is preferred.
- Must have experience in system installations, cable dressing, making/repairing connectors, connecting electrical power including 220 Volt, rigid and EMT conduit installation including conduit bending, and fiber optics cable installation and termination.
- Must be willing and able to travel at least 10-15%
- High School diploma or GED.
- Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program. Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.
- Must be eligible for, or able to obtain, a Secret clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
