Work Shift: D Shift (United States of America)SUMMARY: This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Applicants will be considered for any forklift start type opening on any shift, such as day, evening or night shift as well as overtime and weekends if required. Must accept work in a cold damp environment with temperatures ranging from -5 to 34 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Positions must be willing to lift, push and pull up to 40+ lbs. Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment (forklifts, stand up lifts). Must be willing to stand throughout 12 hour shifts. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they will be contacted for an interview. The applicant must have at least six (6) months of continuous work history with a single employer in the last twelve (12) months.
