The USA pharmaceutical market is the largest in the World. Lilly USA IT is actively looking for passionate and technical collaborators. Understanding the U.S. healthcare environment and its complexities is captivating and stimulating. This team works with commercial and government health insurance Payers to provide patients with affordable access to Lilly medicines.How You Will Succeed: The Lilly USA Payer Technologist maintains and supports several key activities related to Lilly USA's core technologies. This role has responsibility for programs and activities including but not limited to: Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, Audit Support, Technical Design and Implementation, and System Custodian responsibilities. This individual will play an important role in the compliance, operations and transformation of the critical IT solutions that run Lilly's premier affiliate.- Build subject matter expertise in existing Lilly USA technologies
- Serve as technical owner for any maintenance or migration tasks related to existing and future technologies
- Serve as system custodian for 30+ servers
- Responsible for implementing compliant security controls and maintaining and updating associated processes
- Proactive Vulnerability management support and adherence
- Technical Design / Implementation
- Execute Architecture Review process
- Lead Penetration Test response / Project Co-ordination
- Serve as process owner for manual Log reviews
- Audit Support
- Coordination / process owners for audits of technology that within core subject matter expertise
- Sox Audit control coordinator & auditor liaison
- Disaster Recovery workstream responsibility
- Coordination of DR exercise
- Document owner / execution lead for planning, revisions and required updates as a result of the planning
- Tabletop Exercise participation and Cyber Business continuity plan (BCP) owner
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field with a minimum of 1 year of post education experience in IT solution delivery or operational support
- OR Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field
- Self-motivated professional able to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Participation in complex IT projects
- Ability to articulate problems and solutions in a concise customer focused language
- Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional projects
