- Configure, troubleshoot, and monitor network related infrastructure including wireless controllers, routers, switches, voice and network based firewalls
- Maintain and optimize the LAN/WAN infrastructure, IPS/IDS and firewalls
- Manage third-party administered DNS
- Analyze network traffic, identifying opportunities for optimization
- Coordinate and maintain QOS levels with the IT team
- Serve as a resource for Tier II-III Service Desk Support issues to assist in timely resolution on all Cisco and related application issues
- Create and maintain documentation for all system processes and procedures to ensure standardization and compliance
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field required; or 5 years of equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Understanding of the Security Principles of Network Architecture
- Expert working knowledge of LAN/ WAN, IDS/IPS and Layer 7 firewall
- Minimum CCNA, CCNP level preferred
- Able to work within a diverse team to achieve project, department, and business goals
