Aston Carter is hiring Patient Registration Specialists for a hospital in Indianapolis, IN!Shift: 6p-6a rotatingDuties:This position is located in the Emergency Department of a Level One Trauma Center. This is a very fast-paced position that requires you to be quick on your feet. Train/work in 3 different areas of the ED: front desk, ambulance bay, and floor
This ED takes in about 240-260 patients each day who all need to be checked in and registered
Responsible for registrations and insurance verification
Half of your shift will be on the floor, half of your shift will be at the front desk or ambulance bay
Listen to overhead radio system for incoming registrations needed
Requirements:Excellent communication and empathy skills
Self-starter and strong prioritization skills
Previous healthcare experience is NOT required - will consider retail, restaurant, office, any experience!
Ability to be on feet 90% of your day
Stable job history
