Job Description

  • Responsible for the direction and delivery of project planning outcomes within schedule, cost, quality and safety for a mega projects.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a project master plan and schedule to meet the project objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to best practice project management principles and managing the project delivery services
  • Managing the overall project controls, planning & scheduling, cost management, estimating, risk management for the project.
  • Monitoring of project scope and deliverables including application of change management processes.
  • Managing the development, monitoring and controlling of the project schedule.
  • Formulating and controlling of the project budget.
  • Monitoring project costs by reconciling commitments and actuals to the budget and managing trends and risks to produce accurate, forward looking forecasts
  • Developing cost baselines and validating against benchmarks to help inform funding requests for capital spend.
  • Tracking changes and performing trend analysis to provide early warning of cost and schedule risks.
  • Produce period cost and schedule reports, including executive level dashboards and detailed monthly reports to inform stakeholders of project status and forecasts.
  • Monitor and validate progress to ensure earned value against commitments
  • Work with the client Project Manager to develop a project control procedure to monitor the progress of project.

Qualifications

· Bachelor Degree (preferably Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field)

· 4-8 years in Project Controls

· Expertise using Primavera P6 and MS Office

· Experience with SAP financial system preferred

· Experience within the construction industry is a must, candidates with additional life sciences experience strongly preferred

· Local candidates preferred, if not local, must be relocatable (relocation assistance provided)

· The ideal candidate is self-motivated and confident working independently on client sites. The candidate is proactive and engages with stakeholders to seek answers to questions before they arise.

· Must possess exemplary communication skills - both oral and written
