Type: Long Term Contract

Job Title: Site Lead

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Position Overview:Dedicated, site-level support that assists with critical path success and mitigate site-level issues. Serves as the lead for site-specific deployment analyses and assessments and ensure coordination with EHRM IO work streams. Provides program management accountability and project ownership; with responsibility for workplan development, work breakdown structure, team task assignment and execution. Additionally, facilitates the assessment, alignment, and optimization of clinical/functional areas to meet OEHRM deployment requirements. Local POC for the coordination of functional workflow configuration projects and efforts. Align clinical, technical, and executive stakeholder across the organization in support of the project. Will liaison between the local site, and outside entities (EHRM IO, VHA, OHT, Cerner) as needed to support open communication channels. Utilize project and program management methodology to drive delivery within timeline without forfeiting quality. Develop and oversee process to identify, manage and report progress, issues, and risks to project scope, quality, and timelines. Recognize and escalate gaps that will interfere with affect achievement to project success. Collaborate with teams and individuals to develop solution. Report, escalate un-resolve issues and critical risk and liaison between all pillars to mitigate to closure.

Basic qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience is required. An additional 10 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
  • Can act as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics and multiple platforms
  • Responsible for project completion
  • Can perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or technical related field

Additional qualifications:
  • Experience in the VA
  • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records over all phases of project life cycle
  • Possess a solid understanding of clinical practices/different modes of care
  • Promote organizational improvement efforts through the development of systems or client enhancements to standard health implementation and/or product development processes, policies, and procedures
  • Able to implement strong program management practices (change requests, issue management, risk/issue mitigation and management and decision tracking) and contributes to standard client implementation methodologies and management best practices
  • Demonstrated experience proactively identifying new problems and preparing solution courses of action by engaging cross-functional (technical, clinical, programmatic) stakeholders
  • Maintains a high-level of confidence and is able to communicate ideas and influence collaborative decisions
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, empower support staff, and require minimal direction in achieving goals
