We Are HiringWe are adding a Radiology Tech to our Broad Ripple Immediate Care team! Shift Schedule: 2 week rotating schedule Sun - Sat; Average is 39 scheduled hours per week.(2 -12 hour days, half day Friday and every other weekend) Week 1 - Mon, Tue 8a-8p, Off Wed & Thur, Fri 2p-8p, Sat & Sun 8a-5pWeek 2 - Off Mon & Tue, Wed & Thur 8a-8p, Fri 8a-2p, Sat & Sun off. What You Will DoTake radiologic film providing quality images to physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.Prepare and position patients for imaging and selects exposure factors accurately.

Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.

Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Prevent patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.

Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).

Ensure equipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.

Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.

Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:Certified BLS Provider obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
