Part-time Pastry cook at Moontown Brewing Company
Moontown Brewpub is an Indiana craft brewhouse with a from scratch kitchen that utilizes local ingredients to provide an escalated Brewpub menu/experience. We offer a full BBQ menu smoked in house, upscale entrees, salads and specials highlighting creativity from a chef’s perspective, classic flat top burgers with hand cut fries and simple but decadent desserts that are executed with passion and technique.
Pastry Cook Job Requirements include -
-Pastry cooks must be detail oriented, organized, precise and able to work well under pressure. Pastry Cooks are responsible for producing high quality and consistent dishes, being punctual and reliable and work well with others. We have a passion and focus on from-scratch cooking, in a fun, fast paced environment.Full time employees are eligible for health insurance benefits. Hard work and an open mind/respect for others is a must. We are flexible with availability, as long as expectations are met, and communication is upheld. Prepare a station with all products and supplies necessary to execute daily/nightly tasks.
Replenish service line proactively.
Follow given recipes and quality standards and prepare various dishes quickly without compromising consistency.
Follow instructions provided by Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and General Manager.
Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and industry specific safety and sanitation guidelines and best practices.
Properly store, rotate, and manage all food products following local, state, federal, and company guidelines
Communicate well with service staff regarding ticket times and other necessary items.
Clean as you go mentality.
Expected to be on feet for long periods of time (5-10 hrs) and be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
