The CORE Group is looking to hire a PART TIME Warehouse Team member in our Indianapolis office!
Position purpose
Maintain an organized and clean warehouse, to include dry, frozen and refrigerated product samples. Pick up and deliver product, equipment and supplies to and from various locations throughout our market coverage area.
Responsibilities
Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sample orders
Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped
Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins
Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
Maintaining and counting physical inventory
Clean and store all equipment returning from food shows and sales events
Complete scheduled deliveries and pick-ups
Check all deliveries against invoices
Qualifications
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Experience working with UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers
Strong planning, organization, time management skills
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write accurate professional reports and email correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Overtime or Saturday work if necessary, possible travel and overnight stays on occasion
Work a Food Show or company event, if called upon by Sales & Marketing
Working in a freezer & refrigerator, must be able to work in a cold environment for duration of scheduled shift
