Title: IT Business Systems Analyst Sr Location: Indianapolis, IN | Richmond, VA | Baltimore, MD Essential duties to include, but are not limited to:- Perform day to day BMC Remedy Administration tasks as assigned
- Participates in definition and documentation of the requirements including the functional and non-functional requirements
- Tests and/or fixes defects identified during unit testing and re-execute unit tests to verify the expected behavior.
- First line of support for customer issues; Troubleshoot & resolve Remedy production, test, development environment or application issues
- Supports testing and validation of system changes;
- Candidate will provide training, demonstrations, and other "engagement" support to leadership and end users as needed; Educate end users on features, functionality and capabilities;
- Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels within technical and business organizations; on-call responsibilities.
- Requires an AA/AS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 4 years experience with documenting requirements and/or building test cases for a variety of technologies; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Good familiarity with ITIL terms and methodologies
- Excellent Communication skills to communicate with application developers, customers, support personnel and management
- 3+ years working experience supporting BMC Remedy ITSM (Incident, Change, SRM, CMDB, Asset), including v. 8.x; strong understanding of ITSM best practices, platform strengths and limitations
- must have experience with upgrades in the capacity of a systems/business analyst; 3 + years of testing experience, including writing test scripts/cases
- Prefer candidate to have experience with ITSM v. 9x; Agile methodologies, working experience with Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Service Level Agreement, Service Catalog, integrations with other systems.
- A plus if the candidate has experience supporting ServiceNow in the same capacity.
