We are dedicated to safety, quality, and evidence-based care delivery. Our Critical Care Transport (CCT) teams provide the highest quality of advanced transport medical treatment using industry-leading equipment while delivering safe and exceptional ICU-level care. Outside of industry-leading equipment, these crews are staffed with diverse backgrounds including Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Paramedics and EMTs. This is how our teams can safely coordinate and manage a wide range of emergency calls that include adults, pediatrics and neonatal patients. We work closely with Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at Ascension St Vincent to ensure we have the team members available to coordinate all pediatric or neonatal calls. As a member of Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis, you will be joining one of the leading non-profit and Catholic health systems in the U.S. Shifts and Locations Available: Full time, rotating - 3, 12-hour shifts per week. What You Will Do: Teach and mentor emergency services students in accordance with established departmental and regulatory protocols, policies and procedures.Responsibilities:- Develop daily goals and objectives in accordance with student needs and program requirements.
- Direct and supervise patient interventions performed by students during field experiences.
- Coach students and provide formal (written evaluation) and frequent informal feedback.
- Design and teach classes, skills lab classes and simulation training exercises.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required:
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Instructor specializing in Pediatric Adv Life Support credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Instructor specializing in Pediatric Adv Life Support credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
