Job Description
As the
Master Data Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of 7 associates in the finance master data function as well as ensuring proper data flow through many systems/applications.You willestablish and monitorperformance metrics for the team and project management of business initiatives that relate to customer and supplier master data.The ideal candidate will have an accounting background, experience in working with multiple systems/processes, and great customer service skills. Knowledge LEAN processes and ideas will definitely help this candidate.
Accountabilities:- Provide direct supervision for team members; develop each associate’s skills according to goals and knowledge level
- Monitor workload management and team metric goals, effectively report findings and manage team performance
- Effectively communicate to customer, team, and management
- Assume responsibilities for special projects as assigned
- Conduct employee performance reviews
- Use basic knowledge of customer and supplier master functions to successfully maintain daily responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external customers
- Excellent understanding of computer networking
- Self-development/continuous education
Qualifications
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent supervisory skills
- Effective mentoring and coaching skills
- Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills
- Self-motivated and team oriented
- Strong service mentality – dedicated to customer experience
