Job Description
This temporary position will assist the accounts payable and compliance departments by managing filing and record retention maintenance. You will be responsible for filing invoices, boxing invoices, and moving to record retention, identifying documents that have exceeded the record retention policy timeframe, and coordinate destruction and organization efforts.
Youmust be willing and capable to lift and move boxes or materials from one place to another. Could be up be 10-15 lbs.
This role would be a great part-time, after-school position for a junior or senior in high school to earn some extra cash.Duties and Responsibilities:- Filing invoices by vendor name
- Coordinate destruction of records exceeding retention period
- Organize AP and record retention area
- Box up records throughout the accounting department and place in record retention area
Qualifications
- Must be detail-oriented and self-motivating.
- Strong oral skills with problem-solving abilities.
Must be capable to lift up to 10-15 lbs.
