Job Description
Scope of position:We are seeking a candidate must have a proven track record of reliable attendance and must be able to work on their own and with limited staffing. Candidate should be very comfortable handling data entry and working on a lift (normal stand up). Responsibilities will be to handle checking in / out drivers, sealing trailers, locking trailers, and ensuring that our daily inbound/outbound trucks are loaded and unloaded. This candidate must be a strong problem solver and must have experience that is very similar. Candidate must be a very strong loader of cargo onto trailers (pallets) varying in shape and sizes and be able to use racking, load bars, straps and understands how to pack a trailer to ensure cargo moves safely. Candidate must be able to multi-task and handle pressure and have a high level of integrity and move with a sense of urgency. Previous experience working with a freight forwarder, logistics, or airline is a plus.
There is no pick and pack at this facility. Position requires data entry and applicant must be very comfortable with using computers, scanners and tablets. Looking for an applicant that has a great attitude and is willing to go above and beyond. This position is 40+ hours a week.
Operations- Ensures accurate and timely DATA ENTRY into our system through receiving, loading, unloading etc.
- Accurate weighing and dimensioning of cargo by using our automated system
- Loads and unloads trucks accurately
- Counts pieces and accounts for shipments per documentation.
- Reading documents and matching labels and destinations accurately.
- Properly loading trucks and meeting compliance standards for truck loading. Must be very comfortable on a lift.
- Accurate labeling of freight.
- Accurately putting away freight in locations
- Be able to match up numbers and country codes.
- Moving cargo safe around the warehouse
- Ensure that you process the shipments per our operational standards (OPS) and KPI expectations.
- 52 hours of training
- Must be able to lift at least 45lbs, bend, and twist from time to time.

Hours are 6am - 3pm M-F
