Job Description

Collaborate with 3PLs for efficient day-to-day DC operations, ensure compliance, and lead to support continuous improvements in line with set targets for service, efficiency, and cost.

Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in running DC operations in collaboration with 3PLs
  • Good understanding of most relevant sales and online functions
  • Strong communication & coordination skills
  • Excellent understanding of DC operations, specifics, and capabilities of each DC / 3PL
  • Good knowledge of global standards of operating procedures, security and sustainability
  • Holistic view to look at the bigger perspective with a visionary approach
  • Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation, and people development by empowering others

Responsibilities

  • Strategically plan and monitor performance 3PL operations with regards to efficiency, service, cost & sustainability
  • Manage the 3PL-DC H&M-team
  • Closely collaborate with Regional Logistics Sales & Operations to serve day-to-day requests from Sales and align 3PL DC operations with forecasted quantity and service needs
  • Collaborate with 3PL to proactively identify improvement opportunities to enhance performance
  • Identify and resolve risks and issues in 3PL DC performance
  • Manage continuous communication flow with 3PL on day-to-day activities as well as specific requirements
  • Set, facilitate & follow up goals accord. to H&M standards
  • Ensure high quality and in-time sustainability reporting
  • Improve sustainability standards & strive to min. Co2 emission
  • Be updated on, and follow, local laws and regulations
  • Ensure professional handling of health, safety, legal- or security issue in alignment with the 3PL partner
  • Ensure employee safety, well-being and commitment to H&M group’s approach to Human Rights in alignment with 3PL partner

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management,
  • Logistics or related fields or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce, logistics and distribution.
  • Minimum 5 yrs management experience.
  • Experience and knowledge about Online fulfillment operations and e-commerce
