Job Description
You are a team player who cares about customer service. As an Insurance Clerk with Miller's Health Systems, you are primarily responsible for handling the prior authorization, and certification approvals needed for insurance billing. You use your knowledge of accounting practices and your attention for details to help achieve department goals. Some of your duties will include:
· Obtaining prior authorizations, certifications, and recertifications from insurance companies
· Making benefit inquiries
· Follow up on insurance claims and rebilling as necessary
· Data entry related to your findings
· Maintain good communication and follow up with facilities and home office folks as it regards to the principal duties and responsibilities
· Perform other tasks, not to interfere with the above responsibilities, as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have experience with data entry.
