Job Details

Role DefinitionA Structural Engineer must have a strong structural design background, leadership of structural engineering projects, and be a licensed SE of PE. Position requires: 10 + years of structural engineering experience in the design, modification, and evaluation of building and equipment support structures in industrial and commercial project types Mastery of structural design using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with RISA structural analysis programs, AutoCAD, and Revit Experience providing direction to junior engineers and designers and collaborating with other disciplines Experience developing and managing client relationships Responsible for the front-end engineering, design phase, planning and coordinating for construction projects.

Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related science field such as Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering preferred. Combined experience and industry educational certifications to demonstrate competency considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Certification of completion in Professional Engineer License (P.Eng), Certified Professional Engineer, (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) required.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer programs like Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and on-line collaboration tools. Proficient in Autodesk/Plant Design Suite products like Revit and AutoCAD is desired, with knowledge of Inventor, Navisworks, etc., beneficial.
  • Travel up to 25% or as needed, by air and ground.
