Cedar Hills Community Church is looking for a part-time Nursery Coordinator.
The Nursery Coordinator shall be responsible for the oversight of scheduling Nursery on Sundays and for other special occasions. The primary role will be to provide oversight and administration for a team of volunteers who will create a loving environment for infants and toddlers. This is a part-time contract position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Equip a team of adults who have a passion for loving infants and toddlers.
Coordinate a schedule of volunteers and volunteer training for nursery workers.
Encourage families with young children.
Oversee nursery policies, equipment, toys, and supplies.
Oversee cleaning and sanitizing.
Oversee budget.
Participate in staff meetings.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Light physical work requirements sitting most of the time, but frequent standing, walking and vehicle driving also required. Other physical activities include keyboarding, kneeling, reaching, grasping and repetitive motions. Effective hearing and speaking abilities are required for frequent interpersonal communications (both verbal and written). Subject to some seasonal outside weather conditions due to travel and visitation responsibilities. Mental requirements involve dealing daily with a variety of intellectual and practical problems.
HOURS
Salary paid twice monthly based on an average of 10 hours a week. Contract renewable annually. No other benefits included.
