Job Description
As a Material Handler/Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for material distributionthroughout the warehouse.
- 2nd shift, 5:00pm start.
- $19.30/hr. + shift differential for 2nd shift
- Forklift
- Unload inbound materials (not limited to small parts)
- Verify material quantities by checking packing slips, pointing out discrepancies to the Receiving Clerk
- Label inbound materials upon receipt in AIMS
- Move inbound materials into correct locations into the hardware crib
- Pull orders for production departments (both scheduled and as called)
- Maintain clean working environment in the hardware crib, dock, and other areas in department
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience with forklift operation (propane and electric) highly preferred
- Good attendance is required
- Strong math skills; ability to use a calculator.
- Previous experience with scan guns preferred.
- Can work well both as a team and independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Team oriented with a proven safety and attendance record.
- Ability to work with a diverse work force.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Work overtime as required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) will be considered a plus.
- Must have a HS Diploma or GED
