Randstad is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for an opportunity with a global leader in food and beverages. In this position you will contribute to all aspects of maintaining the equipment, building, and grounds working as a team on a 12 hour rotating schedule as follows:Days- 6:00 am - 6:30 pmNights- 6:00 pm - 6:30 am2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on 3 off (this means a 3 day weekend every other week!)Responsibilities:
Maintains and services production equipment to keep in good working order including preventative maintenance as scheduled.Technical knowledge of how to efficiently operate, service and repair all production equipment.Proficient at trouble shooting and adjusting the production operating equipment.Maintains a safe working environment to comply with safety and Food Safety standards consistently throughout the day.Other duties as assigned.Responsible for following all Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures.
Skills:- Basic electrical skills such as but not limited to operation of a multi-meter for purposes of troubleshooting simple electrical circuits- Basic Hydraulic system knowledge- Basic Pneumatic system knowledge- Basic Plumbing system knowledge- General PSM Knowledge preferred- Knowledge of and experience with power and hand tools- Basic welding preferredEducation:High SchoolExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:
Trade Certificate or degree preferredBe able to work in a safe manner.Ensure that quality products are being produced.Be able to communicate effectively.Employees will follow all safety protocols and perform their job responsibilities in a safe manner. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
